SallyDr Sally Selby BDS DGDP (UK) - Dentist
Qualified at The Dental School of The University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 1979. She has worked as a Senior House Officer at the Oral Surgery Department of Sunderland District General Hospital, and at Newcastle Dental School.

She also has experience of general dental practice in Blyth, Tynemouth, Gosforth, Chester-le-Street and Thornaby. She opened Nunthorpe Dental Practice in 1986.

Sally has four children ranging in ages from 17 down to 6, and her husband is a local G.P.

MohinderMrs Mohinder Digpal EDH - Dental Hygienist
Qualified at The School of Dental Hygiene, University of Cardiff in 1992. Her work experience has included working in a Maxillo Facial unit at University College Hospital London, and various private practices in Central London.

Mohinder joined Nunthorpe Dental Practice in 1996. Her work here has included working simultaneously in private practice in Yarm, at Bishop Auckland Maxillo/Orthodontic Department, and still the occassional session in London.

Mohinder recently qualified as an Aromatherapist. She hopes to study further in this field, and wants to incorporate this in to her work. She is also a Medic in the Territorial Army. Her other interests include Health & Fitness, Cooking, Gardening, Yoga and Music.

AnnMrs Ann Johnson - Dental Receptionist
Ann has been with the practice for 8 years. Qualified as a Dental Nurse since November 1992 she runs the reception desk, but still helps in the surgery when required. She is married to Derek, a BT Contract Supervisor. They have two children; Gavin, an Electrician; and Lucy, who is presently in the second year of an Occupational Therapy Degree at Teesside University. She likes to keep fit, and enjoys various activites like theatre, travelling and holidays.

CatherineMrs Catherine Nixon - Dental Nurse
Cathering started at Nunthorpe Dental Practice in September 1996. She joined Shape Training and did a day release course in Dental Nursing, succesfully completing the examination for Dental Nurses at Leeds Dental Hospital in November 1997.

She has studied Greek language for two years, and is currently studying British Sign Language. She is married to Mike, who works at Nunthorpe Secondary School.
